Whoa advanced banana bread layout.

I need to try making bagels sometime too. Curious how it goes, Sam.

I'm in Miami right now, and the people I'm staying with had Montreal-style bagels mailed to their house. The package arrived yesterday.

I haven't yet tried any of the bagels, though I'm sure that'll happen soon.

Anyway, I like the look of that banana bread, Sam. Good job.

I made rosemary bread over the weekend. It kind of weird on its own, but toasted is good. The recipe had no sugar. I don't even understand how that even makes sense.
rosemary brrrrrr

THAT LOAF LOOKS LEGIT @dvvid

I made the bagels!!! They turned out great and it wasn't hard at all!!!

I forgot to take pics, but did a video for my insta story... (@garbanzocan)

Here's the recipe I used for them

Btw if you wanna make the bagels and you live near Trader Joes they have everything bagel seasoning in their spice section which is way easier than making it urself :)

I'm thinking for my next bake maybe a lemon poppy seed cake or somethin? And then maybe soon we can get into all the pumpkin shit for fall.

yesterday it was my birthday and for lunch i ate a turkey sandwich but really i only did that because i wanted bread. a fat lil sausage of a bread roll was presented to me with a smattering of what some might call "the main event" but to me was merely confetti on the sidelines of the incoming bread, shot at my mouth as if from a t-shirt cannon. i ate it with ferocity.

later that night, i went to an overpriced and highly suspect spanish restaurant and was told that they did not have sangria and the only thing that kept me from collapsing into a pile of old prairie homesteader clothes was the fact that, one of the dishes (morcilla sausage with grilled peppers) was presented in between two slabs of dusty baguette-esque bread. i threw the sausage and peppers to the side with the unbridled strength of Chyna in her prime and tore the bread to shreds, then swallowed the shreds whole in python mode.

i also recently explained to a woman who does not have celiac's disease but has decided to stop eating bread that, though bread occasionally makes me feel a bit tired after i eat it during a long work day, it is my absolute favorite food.

i'm so impressed by the breadheads in this group, talk about some luxe loaves.

i've been inspired to cook up a loaf soon. i'll post my results if they are favorable.
